SWTOR - A Sith Empire Guide

BioWare and LucasArts latest work, Star Wars the Old Republic (SWTOR) is a MMO role-playing game that takes place about three hundred years after the previously released Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR). Regardless of the Treaty of Coruscant, which upholds the truce between the two allegiance, tension continues to prevail and threatens to break the peace.
The two opposing allegiance are the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Where exactly the Sith initially came from continues to be questioned. It is however believed that the race began about three thousand years ago and that the race carries the bloodline of the Jedi. When the Dark Jedi arrived on Korriban, they began ruling the inhabitants. After years of intermarriage between the Dark Jedi and the inhabitants of Korriban, came the 'Sith' race along with the wrath and hatred towards the Jedi Order.
The new Sith race are made up of Force-sensitive hybrids just like the Jedi. Their use of the Force is for destruction and power as oppose to the Jedi's use of the Force for the good. As the Sith civilization grows and reached the Republic's boundaries, came forth the Great Hyperspace War. Ever since, the thousand years battle between the two orders, the Sith Lord of the Sith Empire and the Jedi Order of the Galactic Republic continues.
Although, the Sith were crushed in a galaxy-wide battle, the last Sith Emperor manged to escape and began the Empire anew with the help of his Dark Lords. The new society is built on the foundations of vengeance and hatred with the aim to one day crush the Republic and the Jedi Order as they did onto the Sith race. Over several thousand of years, the Empire grew massive with a strong and deadly Imperial army and fleets of warship. All this while, the Emperor prolongs his life by using dark rituals in order to see the day that the Jedi Order is totally demolished.
The new and stronger Sith Empire's fighting forces is not only made up of the Imperial Agents but with Bounty Hunters to take down key political players within the Republic. These are two of the four classes that are featured in SWTOR. The SWTOR Imperial Agent reflects the Republic Troopers. The Bounty Hunters on the other hand are skilled at tracking and taking down specific targets. This SWTOR class works under the radar and has been trained to seamlessly infiltrate the Galactic Republic.
How the never-ending battle between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic concludes has yet to be revealed. Whether the Republic will be successful in keeping the peace and protecting their people from harm, or that the Empire will succeed in destroying the Republic and begin ruling with fear remains a mystery.
